On May 11th for a second year in a row, we gathered at the Easy Club for a bachata dance lesson. Our instructors were once again the wonderful Stuni and Yoanna, who have many years of experience both in dance teaching and participating in major international competitions.
They shared with us the main steps of the dance, as well as the philosophy behind it. They told about the two roles in bachata: the role of the one who leads and their aspiration, but also of the power and control of the one being led. Stuni and Yoanna underlined that everyone could take on the role of a leader or a follower regardless of their gender, and the participants proved this during the dance lesson!
The star of the event was little Archie, Yoanna’s dog, who won the hearts of all participants with his jumps and the desire to dance!
